Under the guidance of the customer, suppliers are invited to join a Supply Chain Forum.  In the initial phase, spend data is shared and consolidated and ‘low-hanging fruit’ identified.  Typically, sourcing projects are then run, leveraging volume and a single process to deliver more competitive contracts than could be achieved individually.  The savings identified are then shared amongst the suppliers and their customer.
